Interior Logic Group - Property Services, formerly known as CriterionBrock, a leading supplier of flooring to the multi-family housing industry will add a talented Compliance Coordinator to our team in Milwaukie, OR. 

Compliance Coordinator will assist Compliance Manager to assure adherence with all local, state and national regulations for business, including sales and use tax, licensing, property tax and the filing of appropriate returns, applications and their renewals.  Research rules and regulations for emerging markets and apply for appropriate licensing.  Stay abreast of changes across the nation and communicate to affected parties.  Facilitate regular internal audits to assure company remains in compliance for each locale, and state in which we operate.

Job Duties Summary:
- Research, and compile information pertaining to sales and use tax, licensing, and property tax.
- Stay abreast of changes to government rules and regulations for each jurisdiction in which the company operates.
- Complete and file all returns per jurisdiction timeline.
- Organize all business licenses and apply for renewals in a timely fashion.
- Support Compliance Manager in all day-to-day activities and ad hoc projects.
- File company records in an organized fashion. 

- 2 years of general accounting experience in construction industry
- Good understanding of Contract Law for Construction
- Demonstrated ability to research and understand government regulations with high level of detail.
- Demonstrated ability to complete business forms and filings
- Keen ability to focus, anticipate needs, maintain close attention to detail, and prioritize work within a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to be in a structured deadline-driven environment
- Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills with excellent written and verbal skills
- Highly dependable requiring little supervision and previous accounting team supervision is a plus
- Proficient in data entry and MS Office applications, intermediate proficiency in MS Excel
